    Hear Me Out!
    Celebrating Diversity, Acceptance and Community
Hello and welcome to my website!  Feel free to take time and look
around at my interesting life and career.  I am hoping I will be able
to come and visit your college or university this year for my 2010
lecture tour.   Last year was a great year speaking and meeting so
many wonderful people across the U.S.A.  I look forward to this
lecture tour to be even more fantastic!

Things are always changing on here or new photos/links being
added, so come back often.  Also, check out the latest news about
my documentary film project.
The link is located in the column on
the left.

More people, regardless of their orientation need to get out there
and embrace the community we live in and get involved.  This is
our country, our world that we live in.  Erase hate and bigotry.  It
belongs no where in our world.  Love, acceptance, diversity and
community should be our goals.  Equal Rights for everyone!

I have made some changes to my website lately with a new photo
page and updated documentary information that is easier to
navigate.   I am able to add more photos now with links to the sets.
Take a look around and come back often.

I have been speaking about LGBTQ issues for over 17 years now,
nine years professionally.  I must say I love being "out there" and
meeting great people from across the U.S.A. I have met so many
students and college programmers that are bringing quality
speakers to your campus. The more we provide diverse
programming to colleges and universities the better our college
and surrounding communities will benefit. Please read on and I
hope to be invited to your campus soon!

I have inspired audiences both gay and straight from Los Angeles
to Boston on the importance of community and how everyone can
give of themselves unselfishly. I've gained my fame by speaking at
colleges, universities and community groups about the
importance of community, coming out, self-esteem and the future
of the gay community.

I have been blessed with a witty sense of humor.  My storytelling,
sensitivity and passion shine through on how to have a positive
influence in your community, embracing diversity and how one
person can create the wave of change in the lives of others.

Now an out and proud gay man, I'll take you on a journey through
my lecture as an adopted child and dealing with family, friends,
self esteem, inner homophobia and the gay community. My
audience will be informed why it is so important to be a role model
and mentor in our communities. I am proud that my message
offers hope, compassion and understanding for gay and straight
communities.

The latest news in my life, is that i am the executive producer of a
new documentary film that explores the 1998 gay hate murder of
Matthew Shepard and the town of Laramie, Wyoming ten years
later.  The film focuses on hate crime legislation mixed with
heartfelt interviews.  My lectures will leave you motivated to
change your life and be the voice of change in your own
community.

I am also a playwright, director, actor and have co-hosted my own
television show in Northern Michigan called, "ARTiculation." My
travels have also landed me in the beautiful Berkshires of
Connecticut where I directed a performing arts program for seven
years. (Seasonal) I have been included in the millennium edition
of Who's Who in America and am thanked for my contribution in Dr.
Ruth Westheimer's new book on her "Guide to College Life".  She
was so great to work with and get to know.

When I'm not lecturing, I am a freelance journalist and filmmaker
for Meefers.com.  You can check out the variety of films I have
done with my little camera, locally and nationally on here.  Just
click on the tab at the left that says, "Video and other films."

Check back here often for updates and additional information.
